Muhammad, Preach the Clear Message

Proclaim (the message). Allah says, “The Messenger's duty is but to proclaim (the message). But Allah knoweth all that ye reveal & ye conceal.” [Al-Maidah 5:99]

(the Message) reach them. Allah says, “Whether We shall show thee (within thy life-time) part of what we promised them or take to ourselves thy soul (before it is all accomplished),- thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account.” [Ar-Ra’d 13:40]

Preach the Clear Message. Allah says, “The worshippers of false gods say: "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message?” [An-Nahl 16:35]

To convey (the Message). Allah says, “If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful!” [Asy-Syura 42:48]

A Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, & Warner. Allah says, “O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, & Warner,- And as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, & as a lamp spreading light.” [Al-Ahzab 33:45-46]

A bringer of Glad Tidings. Allah says, “We have truly sent thee as a witness, as a bringer of Glad Tidings, & as a Warner: In order that ye (O men) may believe in Allah & His Messenger, that ye may assist & honour Him, & celebrate His praise morning & evening.” [Al-Fath 48:8-9]

Only to warn. Allah says, “Perchance thou mayest (feel the inclination) to give up a part of what is revealed unto thee, & thy heart feeleth straitened lest they say, "Why is not a treasure sent down unto him, or why does not an angel come down with him?" But thou art there only to warn! It is Allah that arrangeth all affairs!” [Hud 11:12]
