The Attributes of Allah #2

The Attributes of Allah #2
It is not possible to perfectly translate the names & attributes of Allah from original Arabic into English. However, here are some fairly close explanations.

Maliki yaumid din (Master of the Day of Judgment)
Master of the Day of Judgment.  (Al-Fatihah 1:4)

Zul Fadlil Azim (Lord of grace abounding)
It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special Mercy whom He will - for Allah is Lord of grace abounding. (Al-Baqarah 2:105)

For His Mercy He specially chooseth whom He pleaseth; for Allah is the Lord of bounties unbounded. (Ali Imran 3:74)

O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right & wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, & forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.  (Al-Anfal 8:29)

Be ye foremost (in seeking) Forgiveness from your Lord, & a Garden (of Bliss), the width whereof is as the width of heaven & earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah & His messengers: that is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom he pleases: & Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding. (Al-Hadid 57:21)

That the People of the Book may know that they have no power whatever over the Grace of Allah, that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand, to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. For Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding. (Al-Hadid 57:29)

Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: & Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty. (Al-Jumuah 62:4)
