Submission
to His Will. Allah says, “The
Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of
the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge
had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling
to account.” [Ali-Imran 3:19]
Have lost. Allah says, “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam
(submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; & in the Hereafter
He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).” [Ali-Imran 3:85]
Believe in Allah. Allah says, “When Jesus found Unbelief
on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of)
Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in
Allah, & do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.” [Ali-Imran 3:52]
No distinction. Allah says,
“Say: "We believe in Allah,
& in what has been revealed to us & what was revealed to Abraham,
Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, & the Tribes, & in (the Books) given to Moses,
Jesus, & the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one
& another among them, & to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)."” [Ali-Imran 3:84]
“Be".
And he was.” Allah says
, “The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from
dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.” [Ali-Imran 3:59]
Christ
Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah. Allah
says , “O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say
of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a
messenger of Allah, & His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, & a spirit
proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah & His messengers. Say not
"Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one
Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong
all things in the heavens & on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of
affairs.” [An-Nisa 4:171]
A
prophet. Allah says , “He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He
hath given me revelation & made me a prophet;” [Maryam 19:30]
Glad Tidings. Allah says , “And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, & giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"” [Ash-Shaf 61:6]
Religion
of Abraham. Allah says , “They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would
be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the
Religion of Abraham the True, & he joined not gods with Allah."”
[Al-Baqarah 2:135]
Follow
the ways of my fathers. Allah says , “"And I follow the ways of my fathers,- Abraham, Isaac, &
Jacob; & never could we attribute any partners whatever to Allah: that
(comes) of the grace of Allah to us & to mankind: yet most men are not
grateful.” [Yusuf 12:38]
