The People of Lut. Transgressing beyond bounds.

Practise your lusts on men. Lord says, “We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? "For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." 

And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean & pure!" But we saved him & his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind. And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin & crime!” [7:80-84]

Evident Sign, for any people who understand. Lord says, “And (remember) Lut: behold, he said to his people: "Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. "Do ye indeed approach men, & cut off the highway?- & practise wickedness (even) in your councils?" But his people gave no answer but this: they said: "Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth." He said: "O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief!"

When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime." He said: "But there is Lut there." They said: "Well do we know who is there : we will certainly save him & his following,- except his wife: she is of those who lag behind!"

And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, & felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee & thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind. 

"For we are going to bring down on the people of this township a Punishment from heaven, because they have been wickedly rebellious." And We have left thereof an evident Sign, for any people who (care to) understand.” [29:28-35]

Follow not Satan's footsteps. Lord says, “O ye who believe! follow not Satan's footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful & wrong: & were it not for the grace & mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: & Allah is One Who hears & knows (all things).” [24:21]

Thou art the Oft-Returning. Lord says, “"Our Lord! make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), & of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (will); & show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; & turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.” [2:128] [13050007, dquran ssugema 3.0]
